Laila rated it liked it Jun 22, Vekselvirkningen understreker sannheten i hennes sak: Collett was raised in a house that admired the works of Jean-Jacques Rousseauwhich would be a clllett influence on both Collett and her brother, Nicolai.
But, the story was actually really interesting at times, but again a bit boring, probably more boring than interesting, but the message is there and clear.

The end is heartbreaking. The central love story was heartbreaking, and the imagery of the Norwegian cllett was just beautiful.
Camilla Collett: Older, brighter and funnier
She collettt no safety net and she did not protect herself. Really enjoyed this one. After this book, she wrote very little fiction, but did continue to write essays, polemics, and her memoirs.
